Cyber Barometer: managing supplier risk to protect healthcare delivery
Cybersecurity in healthcare depends not only on healthcare providers, but also on their connected equipment, shared services and suppliers.
According to the September 2026 Scovery Cyber Barometer, French organisations in the Health Care sector have an average cyberscore of 774/900, compared with 765/900 worldwide. Of the 18,199 organisations assessed in France, 101 have been compromised in the past three months.
Fragmented information systems, the growing use of connected medical devices and shared infrastructure all concentrate dependencies. An outage at a provider can therefore directly disrupt the delivery of care.
The cyberscore helps the CISO prioritise critical suppliers, detect deterioration in their security posture, and structure discussions around remediation and business-continuity measures.
